MARY RENNIE ROWE (“M.R.”) LITMAN

M.R. Litman focuses her practice on estate planning, trust and estate taxation and administration, business succession planning, and fiduciary litigation. She brings a deep well of experience to complex probate and family disputes, including will contests, trust construction matters, elective share claims, and controversies involving prenuptial agreements. M.R. is particularly skilled at navigating cases involving fiduciary misconduct and financial misappropriation.

She regularly represents trustees, executors, beneficiaries, agents under powers of attorney, charitable organizations, and closely held business owners. M.R. is also committed to serving families with disabled or incapacitated members, providing guidance in the creation of special needs trusts and advising on guardianship and conservatorship matters. Her practice extends across Virginia, where she appears regularly in circuit courts handling a wide range of fiduciary and estate-related matters.

Before joining Litman PLLC, M.R. served as a senior associate at Williams Mullen, held associate roles at Dinsmore & Shohl LLP and Goodwin & Goodwin LLP, and was of counsel at Virginia Estate & Trust Law.

In her spare time, M.R. volunteers for NBRAN (National Brittany Rescue & Adoption Network) and serves as Planned Giving Chair at First Presbyterian Church in Richmond.
